Hope UCC’s 50th Anniversary

2010 marks Hope UCC’s 50th Anniversary.  We are beginning to make preparations now.  If you are interested in helping with this committee please contact Harry Shepler.

Camp Hope

Camp Hope, our Vacation Bible School, is as much fun for the adults who help as it is for the kids.  This year Camp Hope will be held from Monday, June 29th through Friday, July 3rd. We will begin at 9:30 am every day and end at 12:30 pm. Our theme will be the desert canyon. Camp Hope is for all children from ages 3-12.

Let Holly Jackson know if you are interested in volunteering this year, especially if you would like to be a group leader or a center leader. We will need at least 3-4 small group leaders and 4 center leaders (games, crafts, science, and music) in addition to a co-leader for worship. (Come on, you know you want to be up there on that stage with me acting out the skits!!)

We’ll also need helpers to decorate, volunteers to bring snacks, and many other helpers.  Also please be on the lookout for desert canyon decor. If it looks like it might help Hope Church look more like the Grand Canyon we would love to borrow it!

Hope’s Annual Luau

We have a biannual luau, usually held in September.   All proceeds from the luau will go toward Hope’s Mission efforts.  Learn more about the Luau on the Luau page.  Contact Pam Sheehan for more information about how you can help.
