Helping on Sunday Morning
There are many ways you can serve Hope on Sunday mornings:
- Greeter - welcomes everyone, gives them a bulletin and is the first to person to greet visitors to Hope.
- Hospitality Steward - makes sure that the sanctuary is ready for worship and helps ensure the service runs smoothly. Duties range from lighting the candles, to assisting visitors to collecting the offering.
- Scripture Reader - guides worshipers through the service, announcing hymns and leading the opening prayers.
- Fellowship Time Steward - either alone or with someone else in the congregation, brings the snacks and hosts the coffee hour after worship.
- Sunday School Teachers - have the opportunity to learn from our children while guiding them through their lessons, activities and games.
If you are interested in serving in any of these positions, please contact:
- Marion Ekpuk at Deacons@hopeucc.org for Greeter, Hospitality Steward, Scripture Reader, and Fellowship Time
- Sarah Crisman at Christian_Education@hopeucc.org or Holly Jackson at Ed_Minister@hopeucc.org for Sunday School Teachers and childcare.
