Hope’s Wedding Policy

Hope Church does not distinguish between a Marriage and a Holy Union. The love between two men or two women, or between a man and a woman is a special kind of love that deserves the blessings of family, friends, the church, and God. All people who desire to pledge and commit themselves in love and respect to each other will be honored with a wedding ceremony at Hope Church. Religious marriage ceremonies are held for same-sex and different-sex couples. However, unfortunately at this time only different-sex marriages are legally recognized in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
