A church with a vision of hope, love and acceptance for all people, eveywhere in the name of Christ. A church that knows how to love, to laugh, to cry, to serve, and to think.  At Hope Church we do not claim to have all the answers about who God is and what God has to say to the world.  We are a group of people who believe that God is still speaking in our world today.  Our goal is to listen and follow.  Our task is to love and serve. Through our community we hope to bring peace and justice to a broken world.

Family Ministry --
Opportunities for children occur every Sunday morning through worship and Sunday School. Tuesday evenings throughout the year we have small groups for the entire family. We also hold monthly Fantastic Friday events for families and those who are children at heart! Registration will open soon for Camp Hope 2008 Rainforest Adventure to be held Tues.  7/8/08 - Friday 7/11/08

Seeker's Ministry -- Check out our "Extreme Soul Makeover: Hope Edition"
This unique ministry, written and developed by Hope Church, provides seekers (those new to the faith, and those who have been on the Christian path for some time) the opportunity to further their personal spiritual journey while developing a greater understanding and appreciation of the greater community as the Body of Christ.

 Helping Those in Need in Our Area 
Hope Church partners with Koinonia, our local Christian social service agency to provide for those in need in our area. Throughout the year we provide donations, volunteers, and physical space to make their programs possible. Special events include Kononia's Christmas Wishes event which each years turns our sanctuary into a beautiful "store" of donated toys for those children who would otherwise go without during the holidays.

Special Men's and Women's Ministries 
The Men's Ministry, open to all of the men (and their friends) of the Hope community, seeks to provide opportunities for growth and fellowship among the men of our congregation. Past events have included a trip to a baseball game, a canoe trip, and golf outings. Simlarly the Women's Ministry seeks to provide the women of the congregation a time out together for renewal. Past events have included an afternoon spent making suncatchers, a hiking trip, and lunch out after worship. GLBT ministries
This is a special ministry of Hope Church. Hope Church is an official "Open and Affirming" church for GLBT persons. In June we hosted a Northern Virginia Inter-faith Worship for GLBT families hosted by "People of Faith for Equality in Virginia."

Disability Ministry
This is another special ministry opportunity at Hope Church that developed from specific needs within our congregation. Each month we hold worship and fellowship meetings at Hope Church and/or at Iliff Nursing Center in Dunn Loring, VA.  We welcome those who want to serve in this unique ministry as well as those who can benefit from it.
